Pump.packs, explained

How launching works, where the creator rewards go, how the card reaches your wallet, and who powers it.

What Pump.packs is

Pump.packs lets you launch a pump.fun coin on any real trading card. The catalogue holds over 300,000 cards from 19 games, every set and every printing, each with its real scan and its market price.

Every coin is tied to one card. 100% of the creator rewards the coin earns go into a fund for that card, and once the fund reaches the card's price, the card is bought and sent to the wallet that launched the coin as a 1:1 backed NFT.

Launching a coin

  1. Log in with Phantom. Phantom signs a short message that proves you hold the wallet. Nothing is sent on chain and nothing is paid.
  2. Find your card. Search any game, open the card and press Launch a coin on this card.
  3. Name the coin. You choose the name (up to 32 characters), the symbol (up to 10 capital letters and digits), the logo (PNG, JPEG or WEBP up to 4 MB) and, if you like, an X link. The description and the website are written by Pump.packs and name the card.
  4. Pay 0.1 SOL in Phantom. Phantom shows one transfer of 0.1 SOL to the Pump.packs dev wallet. Check it and approve.
  5. The coin goes live. The Pump.packs dev wallet creates it on pump.fun with a 0.01 SOL first buy, usually within a minute, and the page takes you to your coin page.

The coin page shows the card, the card's price next to the coin's market cap, the market data, and how much the card fund has collected. Trading happens on pump.fun.

Fees

  • Launch fee: 0.1 SOL, paid once in Phantom. If the launch fails for good, it is refunded by hand to the wallet that paid.
  • Network fee: a few thousand lamports, charged by Solana on the transfer.
  • First buy: 0.01 SOL, paid by the Pump.packs dev wallet, not by you. Those tokens are held and never sold.
  • Trading fees: set by pump.fun on every buy and sell. Pump.packs charges nothing on trades.

One wallet can launch up to 3 coins per hour. Any card can have as many coins as people want to launch.

The card fund

pump.fun pays the creator of a coin a share of every trade. Every Pump.packs coin is created by the Pump.packs dev wallet, and 100% of those creator rewards go into the coin's card fund. Pump.packs reads every trade of the coin from Solana and adds its creator reward to the fund, so the amount shown on the coin page is what the trading has actually earned.

The fund's target is the card's market price, converted to SOL every day. The coin page shows the fund, the target and how close it is.

The fund depends on trading. A coin nobody trades earns no creator rewards, and pump.fun sets and can change the reward rate. Pump.packs promises no return of any kind.

How the card reaches you

  1. The coin's card fund reaches the card's price.
  2. The card is bought through Phygitals or Collector Crypt as a professionally graded card that stays in an insured vault.
  3. The card's 1:1 backed NFT is sent on Solana to the wallet that launched the coin. The transfer shows on the coin page.
  4. The NFT is yours. Keep it, trade it, or redeem it with the provider to have the physical card shipped to you. Redemption follows the provider's own terms and fees.

Powered by

Pump.packs is powered by Phygitals and Collector Crypt. Cards bought by a card fund come from their vaults.

  • Phygitals tokenizes real trading cards on Solana. Every card is a 1:1 NFT backed by a professionally graded card in an insured vault, and can be redeemed for the physical card.
  • Collector Crypt tokenizes graded trading cards on Solana. Each card is held in a vault and minted as a 1:1 NFT, and can be redeemed for the physical card.

Your wallet

  • Logging in only signs a text message. A signed message cannot move funds or approve anything.
  • The only transaction Pump.packs ever asks you to approve is the 0.1 SOL launch fee. Phantom shows the amount and the destination before you approve.
  • Pump.packs never asks for a private key or a seed phrase, anywhere.
  • On a phone, open the site inside the Phantom app's browser.

Games

Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana, Digimon, Dragon Ball Super, Star Wars Unlimited, Star Wars: Destiny, Flesh and Blood, Weiß Schwarz, Cardfight!! Vanguard, Force of Will, Final Fantasy TCG, World of Warcraft TCG, Battle Spirits Saga, Riftbound, Dragoborne, Cyberpunk.

Card data and prices come from public card databases, named on every card page, and are refreshed every night. A missing card can be requested on the request page.

Questions

Can one card have more than one coin?

Yes. Any card can have as many coins as people launch, and each coin has its own card fund.

What if the fund never reaches the price?

Then the card is not bought yet. The fund keeps growing for as long as the coin trades, and the coin page always shows where it stands.

Can I change the coin after launch?

No. Name, symbol, logo and description are fixed on pump.fun once the coin exists.

Where do I buy or sell the coin?

On pump.fun. Every coin page links to it and to Dexscreener.

Who receives the NFT?

The wallet that paid the launch fee and launched the coin.
